Why ReelShort keeps charging you

VIP is a subscription, and on the App Store it renews every seven days at the weekly price. Nothing about watching less, or finishing the series you wanted, pauses it. The only thing that ends it is cancelling.

Coin purchases are different. Per the official blog, coin plans do not auto-renew, so if your charges recur, the likely culprit is a VIP plan and not coins.

Deleting the app does not cancel it

The official blog says deleting the app does not stop billing. Your plan lives with Apple, Google or your ReelShort account, not on the phone. Cancel first.
