How to cancel

How to Cancel Your FlexTV Subscription

Short answer

Cancel FlexTV through the Apple ID subscription screen on an iPhone, or the Play Store subscription screen on Android, a day ahead of renewal. The terms make payments final, and billing errors must be reported to support within 30 days.

Get FlexTV

FlexTV VIP renews on its own, weekly or monthly, and the only cancel route its pages document is the iPhone one. Android and web are not described, so the standard store steps are your best bet.

On iPhone

  1. Open Settings and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Select FlexTV from the list.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
  5. Leave a margin of more than 24 hours, which is the cutoff FlexTV's terms and the App Store both give.
  6. The entry should now say when access ends rather than when it renews.

On Android

  1. Launch Google Play and tap the round profile icon.
  2. Tap Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Select FlexTV and tap Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the prompts and look for an end date.

The FlexTV pages we read give no Google Play cancel steps, so what you see here is Google's general path.

Why the charge keeps coming

FlexTV sells a weekly VIP and a monthly VIP, and both renew automatically. The weekly one is priced high compared with rivals, so a forgotten renewal hurts. The terms say renewal is charged within the day before the current period expires.

Cancelling is therefore a deadline job: do it the day you subscribe if you only want one period, and you keep access until it ends.

Deleting the app is not a cancellation

The terms say that to delete an account you should email the support address, and the team then guides you through it. Nothing in them says that deleting an account cancels a subscription, and uninstalling the app certainly does not.

So end the subscription in the store first. Ask for account deletion afterwards, if you want it at all.

FlexTV refund policy and the 30-day rule

FlexTV's terms call every payment final, refundable or not regardless of use, with only the exceptions they spell out. That is about as strict as these apps get.

The one exception is a billing error. You must report it to the support email in the terms within 30 days of the charge, and the terms say that erroneous charges older than that are not refunded. A store-billed charge can also go to Apple or Google through their refund request pages.

Coins and VIP after cancelling

VIP gives HD playback, according to the FAQ, and that should last until the paid period ends. Coins appear to be sold as one-time purchases, though the listing does not label them. What becomes of unused coins after a subscription ends or an account is deleted goes unmentioned in the official pages, so use them first.

Contacting FlexTV support

Inside the app, open My and then Customer Support. The App Store and Google Play list one support email, while the terms and privacy policy name a different one for billing errors and account deletion. When you write, include your account ID, the date and amount of the charge, and a screenshot of the receipt.

Questions people ask

How do I cancel my FlexTV subscription?

On iPhone, switch off auto-renewal in Apple ID settings more than a day ahead. On Android, use the Play Store subscription list, because FlexTV documents no steps of its own.

Can I cancel FlexTV on the website?

The terms and FAQ describe no web subscription and no web cancel route. The site offers web viewing and a top-up button, so if you paid there, contact support.

Does FlexTV give refunds?

The terms call payments final. The exception is a billing error, which has to reach support within 30 days of the charge.

Does deleting my FlexTV account cancel VIP?

Nothing in the terms says so. Account deletion is requested by emailing support, and the subscription should be cancelled separately in the store.

What if I was charged after cancelling FlexTV?

Check that the store shows an end date, then report the charge to FlexTV support within 30 days. Store-billed charges can also be queried with Apple or Google.
