DramaWave Cancel Subscription: How to End VIP on Any Device

Short answer

Cancel in the App Store or Google Play if you paid there. If you paid on the DramaWave website or through Kakao Pay, the terms say to contact the support email. Web and wallet purchases are non-refundable.

Get DramaWave

Where you cancel DramaWave depends on where you paid. Apple and Google subscriptions are ended in the stores, while website or Kakao Pay purchases are handled by emailing support. Here is how each one works.

On iPhone

  1. Go into Settings and press your Apple ID name.
  2. Open Subscriptions.
  3. Select the DramaWave VIP entry.
  4. Choose Cancel Subscription and confirm.
  5. Verify the screen now shows when access ends.

The terms want the App Store cancellation done at least a day ahead of the next renewal.

On Android

  1. Open the Google Play app and press your profile picture.
  2. Select Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Choose DramaWave from the list.
  4. Press Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
  5. Confirm that the listing shows the plan as canceled.

The terms set the same one-day lead time for Google Play.

If you paid on the website or with Kakao Pay

  1. Find the purchase email or receipt so you know the date and the payment method.
  2. Write to the support address from the terms and ask to cancel the subscription before the next billing cycle.
  3. Give the account name or ID, the plan, and the payment date.
  4. Ask for a written confirmation of the cancellation date.
  5. Check your payment method a day after the due date to be sure nothing was taken.

Why DramaWave charges you again

VIP is a recurring plan. Apple's product list shows a weekly VIP at more than one level plus a monthly VIP, and each renews on its own until cancelled. Finishing a show or deleting the app changes nothing about the schedule.

Because several plans exist, open your subscription list and read the period on the entry before deciding how soon you must act.

Deleting your account is not the same as cancelling

DramaWave offers account deletion in the app, under Profile, then Setting, then Delete account. The privacy policy says you can no longer use the service afterward, but it does not say a store subscription is cancelled by that step.

End the subscription first, then delete the account if you also want your personal data removed from the service.

Refunds

The terms make payments final and non-refundable except where the refund and cancellation policy or the law says otherwise. For plans bought in the App Store or Google Play, you are told to request any refund from Apple or Google, not from DramaWave.

For website and Kakao Pay purchases, a cancellation keeps your access until the paid period finishes, and unused time is not repaid. So cancel early in the cycle if you are leaving, since a late cancellation simply means another full period.

Coins, VIP and contacting support

After VIP ends you go back to limited free access with ads. Coins are virtual currency with no real-world value and the terms let DramaWave change or remove them, so spend leftover coins rather than counting on them.
